John Repp has published fifteen earlier collections of poetry or short fiction and individual poems, short stories, essays, and book reviews in a wide variety of print and online journals, newspapers, and anthologies. His work has earned a National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship, the Devins Award, the Akron Poetry Prize, and Residency Fellowships from the Hawthornden Castle International Retreat for Writers, Fundacion Valparaiso, and Yaddo. A native of the Pine Barrens region of southern New Jersey, he has lived for many years in northwestern Pennsylvania.
His first book with Alice Greene & Co. was Music over the Water, followed by Cold Running Winter.
